Mas Tulsà processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights.
2 Data we process
Depending on the service requested, we may process identification and contact details; information provided in enquiries, forms or communications; data on bookings, occupants and stays; billing and payment information; data legally required for guest registration; and subscription data and commercial communication preferences.
When technologies that require it are authorised, browsing data will also be processed for the specific purposes described in the Cookie Policy. Forms will only request the data necessary for their purpose. Please avoid including health information or other especially sensitive data in free-text fields.
3 Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries and requests. We use the data to respond to and prepare proposals regarding accommodation, weddings, retreats, events, experiences or spaces. The legal basis is the application of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject. For other communications, processing may be based on the legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry received.
Bookings and stays. We process the data to manage the purchase, payments, operational communications and booked services. The legal basis is the performance of the contract or the pre-contractual measures requested.
Guest registration. We process and communicate the data required by accommodation regulations. The legal basis is compliance with legal obligations, including those set out in Royal Decree 933/2021 where applicable.
Billing and administration. We process the data necessary to issue invoices, manage payments and meet tax and accounting obligations. The legal bases are the contractual relationship and compliance with legal obligations.
Newsletter and commercial communications. We manage mailings through SiteMinder Guest Engagement. We send news, experiences, events and promotions when users subscribe or give their authorisation. The legal basis is consent. Subscribing by email does not by itself authorise advertising via WhatsApp or other channels. You can unsubscribe via the link in each mailing or by writing to info@mastulsa.com.
Analytics and advertising. When tools requiring consent are used, data will be processed exclusively for the purposes accepted in the cookie panel. The Cookie Policy identifies the tools actually used.
4 Website forms
Each form indicates its purpose and the required fields. If the necessary data is not provided, it may not be possible to handle the request or complete the purchase. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date data.
Basic data protection information and access to this policy are provided alongside the form. Commercial communications are authorised separately from an enquiry or booking, without pre-ticked boxes or any obligation to subscribe in order to receive the service.
5 Bookings and payments
Bookings and electronic payments are managed through Little Hotelier/SiteMinder. Mas Tulsà receives the information needed to manage the booking, payment status, collections and billing.
Data entered during the payment process is handled through the technology services enabled for this purpose. Do not send full card numbers or security codes by email, WhatsApp or enquiry forms.
6 Recipients and providers
To provide our services we use Wix as the website and forms platform; Little Hotelier/SiteMinder for bookings and payments; and SiteMinder Guest Engagement for the newsletter and guest communications. Operational communications needed for the booking are kept separate from consent-based commercial mailings.
When acting on behalf of Mas Tulsà, their access will be limited to the contracted purposes and subject to the corresponding data protection obligations. If a provider processes information as an independent controller, its involvement and the applicable policy will be indicated in the corresponding process.
Data may be disclosed to tax authorities, competent authorities and law enforcement agencies where there is a legal obligation. Mas Tulsà does not sell personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes.
The website includes the Cookie and Access Pro tools by Entangle Commerce to manage cookie preferences and accessibility features. The reviews block is hosted on Netlify. Wix’s infrastructure also uses error monitoring services, such as Sentry, described in its list of sub-processors.

SiteMinder’s data processing agreement states that its systems generally process data in the United States and provides for the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses for transfers that require them. The locations of its sub-processors are detailed in the list published by the provider.

8 Data retention
Enquiries not followed by a purchase: while the request is being handled and for a maximum of two years from the last communication, unless there is a justified need to retain them to address liabilities.
Bookings and contracts: while the service is being provided and thereafter for the periods required to meet legal obligations and address liabilities arising from the purchase.
Guest registration: data in the electronic register subject to Royal Decree 933/2021 will be kept for three years from the end of the service.
Billing: for the applicable tax and accounting periods, depending on the type of document and any interruptions to limitation periods.
Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn or the user unsubscribes. The minimum data needed to prove prior consent and respect objection to future mailings may then be retained.
Cookies and similar technologies: for the periods indicated in the inventory of the Cookie Policy. Once these periods have ended, the data will be deleted or blocked where appropriate.
9 Photographs and images
Promotional use of photographs or videos showing identifiable people will be carried out with the corresponding authorisation where necessary. This authorisation will be independent of the booking or purchase and will specify the authorised uses and channels.
Attending a wedding, event or activity does not in itself constitute authorisation to publish images for promotional purposes. Images of minors require special protection and the legally required authorisation.
10 Rights of data subjects
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data where applicable. You may also withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
You can exercise your rights by writing to info@mastulsa.com or to the controller’s address stated at the beginning. Additional identification information will only be requested where there are reasonable doubts about your identity.
Requests will be handled within the legal deadline, normally one month. In the cases provided for by the regulations, this period may be extended and the data subject will be informed. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
11 Security
Mas Tulsà adopts technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. Staff and provider access will be limited to what is necessary for their duties.
12 Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or organisational changes or changes in the services used. Changes will not allow data to be used for new incompatible purposes without the corresponding information and legal basis.

COOKIE POLICY
1 What are cookies
Cookies are files stored on your device when you visit a website. Other similar technologies may also store or access information. They are used, for example, to maintain technical functions, remember preferences or analyse browsing.
This policy refers to the cookies and similar technologies used on the Mas Tulsà website. Those not exempt from consent will only be used if you authorise them.
2 Website owner
Daniel Jaramillo Lozano, owner of Mas Tulsà Rural.
Tax ID (NIF): 47667905-Z.
Can Tulsà, Veïnat de la República nº 2, 17843 Riudellots de la Creu, Palol de Revardit, Girona, Spain.
Contact: info@mastulsa.com.
3 Types of cookies
Necessary: they enable the essential technical and security functions needed to provide the requested services. They do not require consent when they meet the legal requirements for exemption.
Preferences: they remember browsing or personalisation options. Whether they require consent depends on their specific function and whether they respond to a choice requested by the user.
Statistics: they help us understand how the website is used and improve it. Tools that require consent remain disabled until you accept them.
Marketing: they allow campaigns to be measured or advertising to be personalised. When used, they will remain disabled until the corresponding consent is obtained.
Depending on who manages them, cookies may be first-party or third-party. First-party cookies are managed by the site publisher. Third-party cookies are managed by other providers. A cookie being necessary does not make it first-party, nor does it in itself exempt it from consent.
Depending on their duration, cookies may be session or persistent cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period indicated in the next section.
4 Inventory of cookies and technologies
This website is hosted on the Wix platform. As the platform provider, Wix installs the cookies described below, which are necessary for the site’s operation, security and performance.
Several of these cookies are dedicated to security and are session cookies. The XSRF-TOKEN cookie protects against fraud. The hs cookie handles the security of Wix’s Hive infrastructure. Cookies with the TS prefix are used to detect attacks. The server-session-bind and client-session-bind cookies protect communications with the platform’s API.
The svSession cookie ensures the security and basic functions of the site. It is kept for 12 months.
Other cookies handle performance and stability. The SSR-caching cookie optimises page rendering and the bSession cookie measures system effectiveness. Both last 24 hours. The fedops.logger.sessionId cookie records session errors to improve the site’s resilience and is kept for 12 months.
In addition to Wix cookies, the website uses two Entangle Commerce tools. Its consent manager records the choices you make in the cookie banner. Access Pro stores your accessibility preferences in the browser’s local storage, according to the provider’s documentation.
The purposes described in this section are those declared by the providers themselves. You can consult Wix’s official information at https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site. This declared purpose does not in itself exempt other functions or processing that may be added from consent.
5 Third-party services and content
The website platform and forms use Wix. Bookings are made through Little Hotelier/SiteMinder at direct-book.com, and the newsletter is managed through SiteMinder Guest Engagement. The Cookie and Access Pro apps by Entangle Commerce help manage consent and accessibility preferences. The reviews block is hosted on Netlify.
An external link to a social network, route or map is not the same as embedding its tools on this website. When embedded content uses technologies that require consent, it will only load after the corresponding authorisation.
Official information on cookies and technologies:
Wix: https://support.wix.com/en/article/cookies-and-your-wix-site
Little Hotelier/SiteMinder: https://www.siteminder.com/legal/cookie-notice/
Entangle Commerce cookie: https://entanglecommerce.com/privacy-policy/
Access Pro: https://accesspro.ai/privacy-policy/
Netlify: https://www.netlify.com/legal/netlify-cookie-policy/
The cookie information from SiteMinder and Netlify refers to their own services and corporate websites. It does not imply that all the cookies described on those pages are installed on the Mas Tulsà website.
External links to WhatsApp, Google, social networks, Tripadvisor and Komoot give access to services with their own policies. If you access them, you can consult, for example, WhatsApp’s information at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/cookies and Google’s at https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies?hl=en. A link does not in itself mean that the provider installs cookies on this website.
6 Acceptance and settings
In the banner you can accept all optional cookies, reject them or choose them by purpose. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not mean accepting them. Categories requiring consent are not selected by default.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out previously.
Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the general information on the website. Some content that depends on them may remain disabled, with an indication of how to enable it if you wish to use it.
7 Browser settings
You can also view, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you withdraw consent, you may need to use those options to delete cookies already stored. Deleting or blocking them may affect certain technical functions.
8 International transfers and data protection
Information on international transfers, applicable safeguards and rights is set out in the Privacy Policy. The specific providers of the technologies used are listed in the inventory of this policy.
9 Policy updates
This policy will be updated when the technologies, providers or purposes used change. Where necessary, consent will be requested again.

BOOKING, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
These conditions govern bookings and stays at Mas Tulsà. They must be available before confirming and paying for the booking, together with the specific conditions of the selected rate.
Owner: Daniel Jaramillo Lozano, self-employed sole trader.
Trade name: Mas Tulsà Rural.
Tax ID (NIF): 47667905-Z.
Tourism register: PG-000985.
Address: Can Tulsà, Veïnat de la República nº 2, 17843 Riudellots de la Creu, Palol de Revardit, Girona, Spain.
Email: info@mastulsa.com.
Phone and WhatsApp: +34 659 754 858.
1 Bookings
The person making the booking must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. The booking is considered confirmed after the required payment and receipt of confirmation from Mas Tulsà or the booking system.
Before purchase, the features of the accommodation, dates, occupancy, included services, price and payment and cancellation conditions will be shown. The specific conditions of the rate will apply when they have been clearly communicated and accepted before confirmation.
Confirmation will be provided by email or another durable medium and will include the applicable conditions or incorporate them so that the customer can keep them. Subsequent changes to this page will not in themselves alter a booking already confirmed.
2 Prices and included services
Prices for consumers include applicable VAT. Before the booking is confirmed, the total amount and any mandatory supplements will be stated.
The tax on stays in tourist establishments in Catalonia will be shown separately, indicating whether it is already included in the total or must be paid at the accommodation. Its amount or method of calculation and any applicable exemptions and limits will be stated, in accordance with current regulations and the circumstances of the stay.
The booking includes the services indicated in the booked rate. Breakfast is only included when stated. Lunches, dinners and additional services are not part of the rate unless expressly indicated.
Mas Tulsà does not have a permanently open restaurant. It may offer dinners or home-cooked options with advance booking, subject to availability. Optional services and their prices will be communicated before acceptance.
3 Payment policy
To confirm the booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance is paid during the stay or at check-out, unless otherwise expressly agreed or under specific rate conditions accepted in advance.
Bookings and electronic payments are managed through Little Hotelier/SiteMinder. The customer must complete payment using the methods provided and keep the confirmation.
The corresponding invoice will be provided. The customer may receive it on paper free of charge; electronic delivery will be made with the corresponding authorisation.
4 Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be sent to info@mastulsa.com or by WhatsApp to +34 659 754 858, stating the booking holder, dates and booking reference. The date and time the message is received determine the applicable deadline; Mas Tulsà’s subsequent reply does not change that date. If notified by phone, written confirmation will be requested for the record.
Cancellation is free of charge if received by 4:00 pm on the seventh calendar day before the arrival date. In that case, the deposit will be refunded in full. If received after that deadline, a penalty of 50% of the booked accommodation amount will apply, calculated on its price including VAT. Tourist tax for nights not stayed and optional services not provided are excluded.
The 30% deposit will be applied to the penalty. Mas Tulsà may request the difference up to 50% of the total amount, without charging twice for amounts already paid for the same item.
Days are counted as calendar days, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, using the accommodation’s local time, Europe/Madrid. For example, for an arrival on the 20th, you can cancel without penalty until 4:00 pm on the 13th.
Mas Tulsà will confirm in writing the receipt and financial consequences of the cancellation. Any refunds due will be processed using the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed with the customer, at no additional cost for that change.
Any refunds due will be made within a maximum of seven working days, counted from the day after receipt of the cancellation giving entitlement to a refund. For these purposes, working days are Monday to Friday, excluding official public holidays applicable in Palol de Revardit. This period refers to the refund order issued by Mas Tulsà; the time it takes to appear in the customer’s account may depend on their bank. If the regulations establish a period more favourable to the consumer, that period will apply.
If Mas Tulsà cannot provide the confirmed accommodation for a reason attributable to the establishment, it will inform the customer without delay and refund the amounts for services not provided, without prejudice to their other rights. The refund order will be issued within a maximum of seven working days from Mas Tulsà’s notice of cancellation, using the same definition of working days set out above. Any alternative or change of dates will require the customer’s acceptance.
Situations of impossibility of performance or force majeure will be resolved in accordance with the applicable regulations and the proven circumstances, without excluding the rights of either party.
5 No-show
A no-show occurs when the guest does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date and has not previously notified a cancellation or a change to their arrival.
A penalty of 50% of the booked accommodation amount including VAT will apply, excluding tourist tax for nights not stayed and optional services not provided. Advance payments will be deducted from that amount and, if lower, Mas Tulsà may request the difference.
Notified cancellations and late arrivals will be handled according to their actual situation and what has been agreed with the customer. The booking may be released when its cancellation is appropriate, respecting arrival communications and agreements.
6 Booking changes
Changes to dates, room, occupancy or length of stay are subject to availability and confirmation by Mas Tulsà. Before accepting a change, any applicable differences in price or conditions will be communicated.
Early departure or voluntarily giving up booked nights or services does not automatically give entitlement to a refund, without prejudice to the guest’s statutory rights.
Requests can be sent to info@mastulsa.com or +34 659 754 858. Email or WhatsApp is recommended to keep a record of the request and the reply.
7 Check-in
Check-in is usually from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. If you expect to arrive after 8:30 pm, you must let us know in advance so we can arrange your welcome.
Arrivals from 10:00 pm may be subject to a €25 supplement, subject to prior notice and acceptance. Arrivals after 11:30 pm must be arranged in advance and require confirmation that someone will be available to receive you.
8 Check-out
Check-out must be completed by 11:30 am. Late check-out requires availability and prior confirmation.
The published supplements are: check-out until 2:00 pm, €25; until 5:00 pm, €60; and until 8:30 pm, an amount equal to 70% of the daily rate or a special rate depending on the room and availability. The exact price will be communicated and accepted before the service is provided, VAT included.
If there is a new arrival for the same room, late check-out may not be possible.
9 Guest registration
All guests must provide the legally required data for traveller registration and reporting. Mas Tulsà may request to see identification documents to verify this data, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Failure to provide legally required information may prevent the stay from going ahead. The data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and will not be used for advertising without the corresponding authorisation.
10 Pets and assistance dogs
Pets and companion animals are not allowed during regular stays, unless expressly authorised in advance by Mas Tulsà. For weddings, events or other special situations, please ask in advance.
This policy respects the right of access of people accompanied by assistance dogs recognised under the applicable regulations. Their access is governed by those regulations and is not subject to discretionary authorisation as a pet.
11 Facilities and communal areas
Guests may use the areas made available to them, respecting others’ rest, the facilities, the surroundings and the team’s instructions. The pool is outdoors, seasonal and unheated; its availability may depend on the weather, maintenance and safety conditions.
Use of the barbecue, porch or other spaces requiring organisation must be arranged in advance. Access without permission to private areas, storerooms, work areas, stables or other areas not intended for guests is not permitted.
12 Estate animals
Our own animals live on the estate. To protect them and avoid incidents, please do not enter their enclosures, feed, touch or handle them without the team’s permission. Safety and animal welfare instructions must be followed.
13 Rest and respect for others
Mas Tulsà aims to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. Guests must avoid excessive noise, loud music or behaviour that disturbs others’ rest, especially at night.
The team may intervene in the event of significant disturbances, risks to people or animals or improper use of the facilities, with proportionate measures and in accordance with the applicable regulations.
14 No smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or indoor spaces. If non-compliance requires extraordinary cleaning, deodorising or repairs, reasonable and duly justified costs may be charged.
15 Damage and extraordinary cleaning
Guests must use the rooms, facilities and equipment properly. Damage, loss or deterioration attributable to them due to improper or negligent use may give rise to a claim for reasonable and proven costs of repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning.
The customer will be informed of the incident and the amount claimed. This clause does not in itself authorise automatic or unspecified charges to their card.
16 Personal belongings
Guests must look after their belongings and report any loss or incident as soon as possible. Mas Tulsà’s liability will be determined in accordance with the applicable regulations.
17 Groups, weddings, retreats and events
These bookings may have specific conditions regarding payments, cancellations, schedules, occupancy, use of spaces, services, suppliers, deposits or cleaning.
The conditions will be set out in the proposal, quote or contract and accepted before purchase. They will prevail over the general conditions in the matters expressly regulated, always respecting the customer’s mandatory rights.
18 Right of withdrawal
The general right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation for purposes other than residential use when the booking sets specific dates or a specific period of performance, in accordance with article 103.l of the consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users.
This exception does not remove the possibility of cancelling under the booked rate, nor the customer’s rights in the event of non-performance or defective performance.
19 Complaints
Mas Tulsà has official complaint and claim forms available to consumers who request them. Complaints may also be sent to info@mastulsa.com or to the address stated at the beginning.
Receipt will be acknowledged and the complaint will be handled within the applicable legal deadline.
20 Applicable law
These conditions are governed by Spanish law and by the consumer and tourism regulations applicable in Catalonia, without prejudice to other mandatory rules that may apply. Disputes will be submitted to the legally competent courts.
